Manteigaria - a factory of pasteis de nata, opened a new café in Lisbon on December 19th. It is located in the Ribeira Market, in Cais do Sodré, and promises to be a success, along with the Chiado coffeeshop, which opened just over two years ago.
The new space has two stalls, one facing the interior of the Market and another the exterior, with direct access to Avenida 24 de Julho. Like the shop in Chiado, this coffeeshop also only serves the famous traditional Portuguese sweets - pasteis de nata. Each pastel costs € 1, but there are also boxes of six for € 6. To intensify the taste you can opt for a hot drink - coffee carioca, milk coffee, tea or cappuccino.
