The event will feature gastronomic delicacies, with tasting music and workshops

The Mercato Italia will arrive on November 18 at Praça da Figueira, in Lisbon, and will continue until Sunday, the 20th. This event is destined to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Portugal. The square of the Portuguese capital will have, during these three days, an exhibition of the best of traditional Italian gastronomy, with handcrafted and exclusive products. Admission is free and, in addition to tasting there will also be music and workshops.

The Mercantina restaurant is one of the brands, that will attend the event with several new features in its menu. This will have an exhibition of its products, including mozzarella di Bufalla D.O.P and cannoli from Sicily. Saturday is a pizza workshop day and fresh pasta on Sunday.

If you appreciate the Italian gastronomy, do not miss this event, that gives you the opportunity to try unique creations of renowned chefs and enjoy very particular aromas and flavors. On Sunday, closing day, at 7:00 pm on the market will be announced, which is the best ice cream in Portugal, through a voting, promoted on Facebook.
