The festival will take place on 25 and 26 November

The Vodafone Mexefest festival will take place on 25th and 26th of November 2016 on various venues along Avenida da Liberdade, in Lisbon. This festival will take place on several stages along the streets and in the historic Lisbon houses, such as: Coliseu de Recreios or São Jorge Cinema and Cine-Teatro Capitólio, as well as in such emblematic spaces as: the Casa do Alentejo, Rossio Railway Station and the Society of Geography of Lisbon.

This festival focuses on contemporary non-mass music and aims to surprise viewers every year. For this year there are two novelties, imported from the Paredes de Coura festival, Surprise Concerts and Voices of Writing. Tickets for Mexefest have the single price of 45 euros if you buy in advance and 50 euros if you buy on 25th and 26th of November.

In this edition of the festival you will be able to see the performances of Elza Soares, Howe Gelb and Kevin Morby. As well as the Digable Planets concert, a mix of hip hop and jazz, Jagwar Ma's dance rhythms, Mallu Magalhães's sweet songs (on the photo) and Talib Kweli's hip hop. Mexefest will attend several well-known names, like Lula Pena, Celina da Piedade, Philip Sambado Luis Severo, Ana Bacalhau, B Facade, and Marcia among others.
