Portugal Fit will make the whole MEO Arena move

The event aims to encourage the sport practices

The second edition of Portugal Fit will take place this weekend, on the 19th and 20th November, at MEO Arena, in Parque das Nações, in Lisbon. This event gathers fitness tests and group lessons open to all and aims to promote the practice of physical exercise. The organization expects to receive about 25 thousand visitors.

Portugal Fit takes its origins from an event, that had already existed for two decades, a convention for professionals in the area of sport, which was held in Aveiro. As this event has gained its size over the years, the organization decided to open it to the general public. In this edition, therefore, there will be gymnastic group classes with a minitrampolim, static cycling, high intensity training, cardio-respiratory training, dance and martial arts.

In this event participants will be able to experience new trends in fitness and new classes that are appearing in gyms, in the event there will also be activities directed to industry professionals, such as group classes and workshops. In addition, there will be cross training and bodybuilding competitions.

Besides the locals, this event also attracts many foreigners, from countries, like: Spain, Finland, Luxembourg, Japan, Angola, Mozambique and Cabo Verde. Portugal Fit takes place on Saturday between 10.00 and 23.00 and on Sunday between 09.00 and 20.00. Adult tickets cost € 17 for one day and € 26 for two, child ticket costs € 10 for one day and € 14 for two.
