€20 Menus at Pousadas de Portugal from the 18th November 2016

Pousadas Gastronomic Week will have a second edition, which starts on November 18 and ends on November 27. In all, there are nine days when you can enjoy special menus at € 20 with the right for a starter, plate and dessert in 27 restaurants of Pousadas de Portugal.

In this edition there are four more restaurants than in the earlier (27 instead of 24) with dishes like Estaladiço de alheira de Mirandela (Casa do leão), Pork Tranche with chestnuts and wild mushrooms (Pousada Caniçada) or Cacao in coriander sauce with potatoes the batter and fried bread (Pousada Castelo Alvito).

Hotel industry has the best semester in 12 years

The performance of Portugal hotels from January to June 2016, was the best period of the last twelve years, in terms of the level of occupancy, average room rate and average revenue per tourist. These findings were revealed on 30 August by the Hotel industry Association of Portugal (AHP).
