The Color Run Will Color the Streets of Oeiras on July 7

The match is scheduled for 5 pm on the first Saturday of July

 

After having colored the streets of Coimbra on May 27, The Color Run is now preparing to fill the Jamor with color. The match is scheduled for 17h on the first Saturday of July, the 7th. This is the first time that the National Sports Center of Jamor, in Oeiras, opens doors to the event.

 

The participants, dressed in an official t-shirt, will find in each kilometer covered a station of color that will envelop them in clouds of colored powder. This year, The Color Run added to these stops a novelty: explosions of glitter.

 

Tiago Pereira, responsible for organizing The Color Run, said: "We have prepared this edition so that families and friends can experience the happiest '5 kilometers of the planet' without worries: either powder or shine or, as is commonly known, glitter , are harmless to the participants and the environment. Both are made from corn starch, natural ingredient, used in the food industry and decoration of cakes, and non-polluting."

 

In the line of arrival of this event for the whole family, where the chronometer does not enter, there will be a post-5km party, in which the music will be assured by the interpreter of the theme "Dança Joana", Filipe Gonçalves, and by a guest DJ. The Color Run also included in the program a set of activities that will surprise the youngest.

To be part of The Color Run, interested parties will need to purchase an individual or team participant kit (minimum of four members). The price starts at € 14.90 and goes up until July 7.

 

Tickets for The Color Run Shine Oeiras are available at the online ticket office, Fnac, CTT, Worten and El Corte Inglés stores and at the event itself.

 

The number of registrations is limited to 5000 and so far 3000 have already been registered.
