The Nutcracker is a traditional Christmas tale and will fill with magic your holiday season. This beautiful classical ballet features the interpretation of the Russian Classical Ballet - company from Moscow, led by Evgeniya Bespalova. The show is taking place on December 20 at the Tivoli Theater and is based on the E.T.A. short story. Hoffman tells the story of a girl who dreams of the prince. Clarinha defeats the King of the Rats and breaks the spell, causing the nutcracker to become a beautiful prince. This story, that stimulates the imagination of all of us, particularly the younger ones, has the musical composition of the genius Pyotr Tchaikovsky.

The Russian National Ballet proposes the Swan Lake for the 10th and 11th December at the Centro Cultural de Belém. The show, with the music by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, tells the story of a prince, who falls in love with a swan girl, living a impossible, but beautiful love. The Russian National Ballet was founded in 1989 by Sergei Radchenko - one of the most important solo dancers of the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow, and has a repertoire that favors the classical ballets he has performed all over the world for 25 years.

O Quebra-nozes pela Russian National Ballet

The Nutcracker is the second proposed show of the Russian National Ballet this Christmas. This show will take place on December 9, 10 and 11 at Centro Cultural de Belém. This ballet is based on the tale "The Nutcracker and the King of the Rats", by E.T.A. Hoffman. It tells the story of a girl in love with Prince Nutcracker, who saves him from the threat of the King of the Rats and breaks the spell that kept him as a nutcracker.
