For those who arrive in Portugal in their own boat the Oeiras’ Marina is the best place for you and for ride.

The Marina, or Porto de Recreio, at Oeiras waits for your sails in a unique location on the Portuguese coast. It has recently undergone remodeling and has both historical and recreational attractions for those who get tired of so much blue around and need steady ground and refuelling.

The Oeiras Marina has seven pontoons protected by a long breakwater and a vast dry dock. It offers 294 moorings in floating points and 100 dry places in a shipyard with 4,500m2.

Not far away, you will find restaurants, bars, a press shop and several nautical shops.

The Oeiras’ Pousada de Juventude (youth hostel) is 50 meters away, in a beautiful 18th century fortification, originally built to defend locals against piracy. And the best saltwater pool in Lisbon is also right there, just across the road. It has two water plans, one for children with 330m2and 40cm of depth and another for adults with about 1500m2and depth between 120cm and 2 meters. It also has jumping platform, 70cm, 2, 5 and 7.5 meters high.
