1st edition of Porches Craft Beer Fest takes place in the Algarve

If you are a fan of craft beer, do not miss this festival held in the south of the country

 

On June 1st, VILA VITA Biergarten, the most authentic beer garden in the Algarve, located in the picturesque village of Porches, hosts the first edition of Porches Craft Beer Fest, a festival dedicated to the world of artisanal beer in its large garden , filled by small wooden huts.

 

The festival, with free admission starting at 6:30 p.m., will welcome your visitors in a relaxed atmosphere, is going to offer live music, an artisan brewery workshop with Head Brewer Greg dos Santos, a live DJ, the opportunity to test the new Mercedes Class A and a wide gastronomic offer in an American street food style, where you will also find a selection of traditional Bavarian delicacies, organic meat and various snacks within the concept food-for-beer.

 

Concerning live music, special attention is given to the performance of the Portuguese band Dead Combo, led by Tó Trips and Pedro Gonçalves. The band, internationally recognized for its unique sound, inspired by fado, rock, and the sounds of South America and Africa, now presents its sixth album of originals called "Odeon Hotel", released during the month of April, which counts with the special participation of the American musician Mark Lanegan.

 

The organization is in charge of the resort VILA VITA Parc that wants, with this festival, to make known the world of craft beers, where it was launched recently with the launch of its own craft beer, Porches Craft Beer, which gives the name to the festival.
