Discover the French Movies at The Festa do Cinema Francês in Lisbon

The premiere of the French Cinema Party will have the presence of several directors

 

The French cinema is celebrated across Portugal with the Festa do Cinema Francês, starting this year on 5^th October in Lisbon and moving through 12 cities until 12^th November. The festival starts with the movie Lumière! L’aventure Comence , having its director, Thierry Frémaux, on the opening night at 9pm at Cinema São Jorge, in Lisbon. Aside Frémaux, this edition will also welcome the French author and director Laurent Grousset and the director Arnaud Desplechin.

 

The complete program of the cycle was presented by Institut Français of Portugal. Beside Lisbon, the festival will be present all over the country. During October, films will be shown in Almada (11^th to 15^th, Forum Romeu Correia), Cascais (12^th to 15^th, O Cinema da Villa), Coimbra (17 ^th to 22^nd, Teatro Académico de Gil Vicente), Leiria (19 ^th to 21 ^st , Teatro Miguel Franco) and Porto (23 ^rd to 29 ^th, Teatro Municipal Rivoli). During November , it will move to (7^th to 10^th, Teatro das Figuras), Beja (7 ^th to 11 ^th, Pax Julia), Viana do Castelo (8 ^th and 9 ^th, Teatro Sá de Miranda), Seixal (8 ^th to 11 ^th, Forum Cultural) and Setúbal (10 ^th to 12 ^th, Charlot).
