Meet the new album "Giesta" by Miguel Araújo

If you have no plans for this afternoon and you are a fan of Miguel Araújo, we tell you where you need to be at 7pm: in front of the Chiado Warehouses to watch his concert, for free. Integrated into the programming of the Lisbon festivities, this mini-concert has the collaboration of the Chiado Warehouses and Fnac. After the performance, there will be an autograph session at the Fnac store, inside the Warehouses.

Miguel Araújo will present the album "Giesta", released on May 19, his third original record. The singer made his solo debut in 2012 with "Cinco Dias e Meio", editing two years later "Chronicles of the Big City" and then "Chronicles of the Big City Live" on CD and DVD, recording the show held at Porto Coliseum in the previous year.

Throughout his career, Miguel Araújo has established itself as one of the greatest names in the Portuguese music, as well as one of the most renowned composers, having composed for music artists like Ana Moura, António Zambujo and Carminho, in addition to the songs for his records and for Os Azeitonas albums. Last year, along with António Zambujo, made the unprecedented accomplishment of 28 dates in the coliseums of Lisbon and Porto.

Throughout 2017, Miguel Araújo will be on tour across Portugal. The main and most wanted concerts are scheduled for the Porto Coliseum, on November 4, and for the Coliseu dos Recreios in Lisbon on November 11. For now, you can listen, among other songs, the single "1987", which includes the participation of the singer Catarina Salinas, today in front of the Chiado Warehouses.
