In July 2017, TAP will have a total of over 1176 flights, comparing to the same month of 2016

 

TAP, the Portuguese airline, will begin flying to Toronto, Canada, Las Palmas and Alicante in Spain, Stuttgart in Germany, Bucharest in Romania and Budapest in Hungary, starting June 2017. Fernando Pinto has announced six from the eleven new routes promised for this year.

 

The new destination Toronto will have five weekly flights, Las Palmas and Alicante will have a daily flight, Stuttgart will have two daily flights, Bucharest six weekly flights and Budapest seven weekly flights. In October, Fernando Pinto had already announced the launch of eleven new routes of 2017, seven in Europe, three to Africa and one to North America.

 

In July 2017, TAP will have a total of over 1176 flights comparing to the same month of 2016, which corresponds to an increase of 272,878 available seats. In 2016, there were several changes in TAP, including the ordering of the new fleet, with 53 medium and long-haul aircrafts, the acquisition of two A330s and the renewal of 48 aircrafts.

 

 

This year, TAP will Portugália with TAP Express, create the bridge between Lisbon and Porto and launch new routes to Boston and New York. In addition to the air bridge between Lisbon and Porto, TAP increased the frequency of routes to Madeira and the Azores, as well as the Lisbon and Faro route, which went from three to four daily.
