Sunday lunch with classic Portuguese cuisine, like feijoada or dobrada

 

Abre-Latas is Mouraria's new restaurant, which focuses on conversations and simple cooking as a key ingredient. The space of Julio Fernandes and Jorge Colaco, is relatively small, counting app. 18 seats. On the menu suggestions are varied to the tapas, tostadas, blinis, salads and daily specials.

 

 

The preparation of the dishes is quick, so that the preserves do not lose their characteristics, whether tuna, sardines, horse mackerel or eels. They are cooked only with the strictly necessary ingredients and presented without much artifice. This restaurant also uses smoked or salted ingredients.

 

At Abre-Latas you will find combinations of original flavors, such as smoked trout with salicornia, muxama with orange and cherry tomatoes, smoked pork chops and blinis. Since it opened in November, Abre-Latas has diversified its offer. In addition to the wine and tapas, Sunday serves lunch with Portuguese classics such as feijoada or dobrada.
