TAP is considered the best airline in Europe

Portuguese company was awarded the route Boston-Lisbon with the wines served on board

The Portuguese airline TAP received the awards of "Best Airline in Europe" and "Best launch of new route", on December 15 in Los Angeles, United States, due to the Boston / Lisbon flights allocated by the North-American magazine Global Traveler.

At the same time, TAP also received two other awards, due to the quality of the wines served on board in business class: the wine Paulo Laureano Reserva 2014, Alentejo, and Churchill's Estates Grande Reserva 2011, Douro, which took the 2. nd place in the ranking "Best International Business Class Red White".

TAP does 23 flights to the United States a week, while in 2015 it only flew eight times, and is forecasting to reach 70 weekly flights in the next three years, targeting such destinations, as: Washington and Chicago, as well as current: New York and Boston.
