MasterChef participant opens a restaurant in Seixal

Mundet Factory is the new restaurant of Seixal that will serve various dishes from all over the world, cocktails, offer exhibitions and concerts

Would you like to spend a day differently? If you visit the other banks of the Tagus, in Seixal, go to Mundet Factory, the new space of João Macedo, participant in the MasterChef program. The Mundet Factory is a restaurant, bar and terrace located in the old dining rooms of the Mundet & Son, situated on the riverside area of Seixal. Its opening takes place on 21 December.

In addition to the various gastronomic offer and the presentation of new cocktail trends, the Mundet Factory will also have a cultural and musical aspect. After participating in the TV program MasterChef, João Macedo finally realizes the dream of opening a space of his own. To this end, he focused on the rehabilitation of the old refectory of the Mundet, one of the most emblematic spaces in Seixal.

"The Mundet is a space with a great emotional load for the municipality of Seixal. It was a factory, that was installed in the county for 80 years and were several generations", explains chef João Macedo. At the Mundet Factory you will find the gastronomic offerings from all over the world, a bar with a different service, rather unusual, as well as exhibitions, concerts, and other surprises.
