For five days, lisboetas will be able to enjoy the Porto delicacy in the Portuguese capital

The Lisbon International Fair (FIL), in the Parque das Nações, will host the seventh edition of the Festival de Francesinhas de Lisboa, from 7 to 11 December. For five days, the people of Lisbon will be able to enjoy this delicacy in the capital. In this edition of the event five different recipes will be served, prepared by the restaurants Customs Douro, Mistermix, Cufra, Majára and Gastro Bar by the Restaurant Eleven.

This year, the Festival de Francesinhas de Lisboa has a special activity. On the first day a 15-meter francesinha will be served, which will be ready on the spot at 3:30 p.m. This event starts at 12:00 pm and extends until 00.00. Entrance is free.

Francesinha - is a snack born in Porto, which is made with two thick slices of loaf of slightly toasted bread, among which is added a beef steak, sausage, mortadella and fresh sausage. Cover with multiple slices of cheese on all sides and goes to the oven until the cheese is melted. Finally, the most important ingredient of Francesinha is put on top: the hot sauce, thick and spicy.
