Which zone of Portugal has better quality of life?
Castelo de Vide is the county in Portugal with the highest quality of life
We already know that Lisbon is unbeatable in terms of entertainment, gastronomy and historical heritage. But which zone has better quality of life in Portugal? According to a study by Marktest, the outskirts/countryside is the best area to live in, with regard to climate range, infant mortality, crime, health and cultural equipment per capita, among other parameters.
The municipality of Castelo de Vide tops the list created by Marktest, obtaining a result of 16.9, on a scale of 1 to 20. Following are other municipalities of the same district of Portalegre: Sousel, Fronteira, Alter do Chão and Marvão, which scored between 15.8 and 16.2 in this rating. At the opposite end is Felgueiras, with a rating of 5.5, followed by the counties of Palmela, Lousada, Paredes and Benavente, which do not exceed 6.1.
