A neighborhood of Lisbon is opening for you to taste the delicious snacks by José Avillez

José Avillez, the only Portuguese chef honored with two Michelin stars, will open its sixth space earlier this month, at Rua Nova da Trindade, Chiado, Lisbon. However, this time going further. Bairro do Avillez is not just a restaurant, but a reproduction of a typical neighborhood of Lisbon.

The new project aims to highlight the best Portuguese flavors combining simultaneously the most typical and uncharacteristic traits of Lisbon's neighborhoods. This includes a tavern with traditional snacks, a patio with fish and seafood dishes and even a grocery store with typical products from Portugal.

This will be the sixth chef's project in the Chiado district, that joins the Belcanto, Pizzeria Lisbon, Café Lisboa, Cantinho do Avillez and Mini-Bar.
